Potassium Nitrate

Potassium nitrate is a chemical compound of potassium known as an alkali metal nitrate. In the world of manufacturing, potassium nitrate is used in the creation of many products. Potassium nitrate has a long history in the world of medical treatment as well and once was used as a cure-all for all sorts of maladies from asthma, to arthritis, to stomach problems, and more. Today, in terms of medical applications, it is predominantly used as a diuretic and diaphoretic. It may also, in select quantities, improve muscle function and lower blood pressure. And it is used as a whitening agent in some toothpastes, as well as by body builders for muscle improvement, endurance, and as a strength training enhancer.

HOW TO USE:

Potassium nitrate often comes in tablet and capsule form but your doctor will decide what form you should take that will be optimal for your specific condition.
