Nitric Oxide

Nitric oxide is a free radical, a valuable cellular signaling molecule in the human body that is also a strong vasodilator that relaxes arteries. Nitric oxide plays a key role in the regulation of blood pressure and circulation in general. In regard to gastrointestinal health, nitric oxide helps to regulate control of the secretion of gastric acid, and mucus. Nitric oxide can be boosted in the body, for its obvious health benefits, by increasing the amount of lean proteins and vegetables in your diet, and keeping up with your daily exercise. Nitric oxide may be beneficial for increasing memory function, protecting against heart disease, improving sleep, increasing immunity, and increasing endurance and strength, the latter being the reason why nitric oxide is championed in the world of fitness and strength training.

HOW TO USE:

Nitric oxide supplements come in various forms from pills to powders to injections. Talk to your doctor about your condition or desired results and he or she will advise you on whether a nitric oxide supplement is safe for you to take. Your doctor will let you know what form is right and what dosage is safe, if nitric oxide is prescribed or recommended by them. Consult with your compounding pharmacist if you have further questions.
