About Dr. Navid Vahedi

About Dr. N.Vahedi Proudly serving as your compounding pharmacist at Fusion Rx Compounding Pharmacy is Navid Vahedi, BSc, Pharm.D. Dr. Vahedi earned his BSc in Neuroscience in 2002 from the University of California, Los Angeles. After some initial work in the field of neuroscience, he decided to study in the field of pharmacy at the University of Southern Nevada, earning his Pharm.D. degree in 2006. Shortly after his studies, Dr. Vahedi began working as a manager for Longs Drugs from 2006-09. During this time, he was made aware what the standard pharmaceutical practice was lacking.

Dr. Vahedi realized that the compounding pharmacist could deliver things that a pharmacist couldn’t. Offering specialized preparations, the compounding pharmacist could accommodate patients in several ways. As a result of what he learned, he took the steps to become a compounding pharmacist and received his certification from the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) in May 2009. Dr. Vahedi now uses his experience and training to deliver the highest level of expertise to his patients, and he is a master in handling the ever-important association of doctor, patient and pharmacist. With his knowledge and skills, he is able to team up with your physician to provide tailor-made medication unique to you and only you.

Dr. Vahedi illustrated early in his compounding pharmacy career how a dedicated compounding pharmacist can accommodate patients to go above and beyond what a typical pharmacist can do. Working with a young, married woman's physician, Dr. Vahedi developed a medication to relieve her recurrent problem of aphthous ulcers, also called canker sores. Taking careful note of the woman’s condition and medical history enabled Dr. Vahedi to customize the medication according to her exact needs. After three days of taking his specially made medication, the woman saw relief from her condition. Everyone was grateful for the results and relieved that Dr. Vahedi's solution to the problem has completely stabilized the woman’s condition.
