Buspirone, an anxiolytic, is a custom drug that is prescribed for anxiety patients. As an anxiolytic it plays a role in balancing neurotransmitters in the brain and often offers anxiety sufferers some relief from their troubling symptoms such as excessive worry, jittery nervousness, sweating, difficulty getting to sleep or staying asleep, pounding heartbeat and more.
Buspirone is to be taken orally two, possibly three times per day as prescribed by your physician. Buspirone can be taken with food, or without. Consistency of schedule is important with dosage so try to find a schedule that works with you, in accordance with your physician's instructions, and follow that exactly.
