The compounding pharmacist works with the physician and the patient to provide a specialized hormone replacement therapy appropriate for each individual patient.

This approach to hormone replacement therapy is only undertaken once the female client’s medical and personal health history has been carefully reviewed.  Following the initiation of hormone replacement therapy, the compounding pharmacist and the physician then follow the patient’s progress closely so as to make any required adjustments to the medication in use.
